Gratitude

During this time of Thanksgiving it is so wonderfully appropriate to discuss the subject of Gratitude. When we are grateful we bring ourselves into vibrational harmony with our desires and are able to attract more of what we want into our lives.
The more we focus on appreciating and valuing what is in our life, the more things or situations will come into our life that we desire and can be grateful for. Choosing to be in a State of Gratitude helps us to add positive energy to any situation and shift our point of attraction to that which we desire more of, rather than what we do not want in our lives.
Remember our thoughts are things and there is great power in our words! When we are not expressing Gratitude, we are in resistance to that thing/situation and therefore end up attracting more of what we do not want, because we are sending out a disharmonious vibration of a lower thought frequency. By finding things to be grateful for, even in those experiences which may not be fully desired, you are able to raise your vibration and focus on what is desirable and attract more of that. It is only natural to feel sad or disappointed or even angry sometimes. However, if we do not remain in that emotional space any longer than we have to, we can shift our energy allowing those emotions to be released and allowing ourselves to refocus on what is a blessing about the situation. When we choose to bless the situation and shift to a State of Gratitude we are able to transmute any negative energies or emotions we may have toward the situation and shift our point of attraction. The ability to raise and keep your vibration high allows you not only to attract what you desire, but to attract it faster as higher vibrations are more powerful and are able to manifest quicker into our physical reality.
Through the Law of Attraction we are able to create an endless cycle of Gratitude. It starts by being grateful, which attracts more things we are grateful for, so we are grateful for those things, and so on. You have the ability to choose your thoughts, so choose to be Grateful. Condition yourself to find things to add to your mental gratitude list as you go through your day. When you are in a difficult or unpleasant situation, catch yourself and find something about it that you can be grateful for and focus on that thing you are grateful for, not the rest of your feelings about the situation, which are focused on what you do not want.
Ask yourself each day, “What am I grateful for today?” Challenge yourself to choose things that you might not immediately find yourself in a state of Gratitude for, and to shift your perspective to have an Attitude of Gratitude toward that thing or situation. In other words find the blessing or the silver lining to every situation. Each day challenge yourself to count your blessings and you will see them multiply. Keep a gratitude journal, to assist you in making Gratitude a habit. Choose to make Gratitude a habit by documenting something you are grateful for, everyday, for 40 days, and see the difference the habit of Gratitude will make in your life!
Life is a gift, enjoy it! Happy Thanksgiving!
Angel Blessings,
