2010: Laying Your Foundation For Success
By Dawn Solomon, PhD., ATP®
Archangel Michael tells us that 2010 is a year to focus on taking those risks that lead to personal growth, well being and happiness. By being true to our selves we allow ourselves the freedom that comes from being totally authentic. Part of being our authentic self involves connecting with our heart and remembering our passion. Remember those things you truly love, connect with them, be immersed with them and feel the love pouring through you. Now is the time to re-experience your authentic self.
January 2010 is a 4 month. (1+2+0+1+0=4). The number 4 in Numerology tells us this is the month to lay foundations and set stable structures in place, upon which you will build your journey for 2010 and beyond. It is also a potent month energetically to attune your vibration to powerfully manifest your desires in your physical reality. It is important, as you look to lay the foundation for your future, that you honor the past and release it with gratitude, so that you can move forward with clear focus and renewed energy. It is upon this base of renewal, love and passion that a solid foundation can be built to move forward. This month is the month for you to do the inner work and take the risk to reconnect with your authentic self. Release the past and set your personal intentions for 2010 to prepare yourself for the journey ahead.
A vision board is a powerful technique to help you in doing this. I highly suggest everyone take the time and focus to create a personal vision board for yourself this month, as a part of laying your foundation. A vision board is a visual representation of the life you envision for yourself. The concept behind the vision board is the law of attraction. Meaning when your surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, etc., you are able to manifest those things in your physical reality. A vision board can be created with you in the center surrounded by depicting qualities of the person you want to become; it can solely focus on those things you wish to acquire experience and achieve; or it can be a combination of these. Create your vision board with the focus you are guided to. The following steps will aid you in the creation of your vision board.
Step One: Gather Materials: poster board, magazines and pictures (I often will search and print pictures off the internet that represent my goals), markers, glue stick, tape, scissors, and music if you wish.
Step Two: Meditate or contemplate on what it is that you want to represent in your vision board. Sit quietly and set your intention for the creation of this powerful vision board and ask yourself, “What do I want to manifest in my life?” Open your heart to whatever thoughts come to you. By taking a moment to feel each thought that you wish to manifest, you increase your manifestation ability for that thought. Mix it up and have “bigggg” things and “small” things that you want to manifest, remembering that there really is no such thing as big or little, easy or hard, as it is all just energy. ;-)
Step Three: Begin creating your vision board. Go through magazines and cut out what appeals to you. When you have gathered representations of what you wish to create, lay them out on the board. Remove what no longer feels right. Follow your inner guidance as you arrange images and words. Secure the representations with tape and or glue. Enhance your vision board by placing a fabulous picture of yourself in the center. Finally consider laminating your board or covering it tightly with plastic wrap to help protect your vision.
Step Four: Hang your vision board in a place where you will see it and connect to it several times a day, especially in the morning when you get up and in the evening before bed. You can create a vision board large enough to hang on the wall or small enough to carry with you wherever you go. When you connect with your vision board, take time to focus on each item and actually feel that representation, as if it were already manifested in your reality. Use your senses. Touch the images on the board. Visualize yourself in the experience, living your vision. This will also help to inspire and motivate you, as well as create continuous positive energy flow between the Universal energy, you and your vision, magnetizing your dreams into your reality.
This is a powerful and effective tool for manifestation. You will be amazed at how quickly the items on your board will begin manifesting in your life! We love to hear your manifestation success stories! Email them to us at opal@opalconsulting.biz.
